Khalid “Greens” Freeman
Khalid is one of the most unique and innovative choreographers in the world today. He has traveled 49 States and 21 countries as a performer or teacher a self taught dancer from Detroit but raised around the world is disciplined by Martial arts and grounded by Islam.
He brings years of performance experience with the Broadway hit show Stomp, Stomp Out Loud, Arthur – A Live Adventure, Cirque du Soleil’s LOVE and The Ellen Degeneres Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, America’s Got Talent and the Latin Grammys. Khalid was also a part of the most powerful music outreach organization in America “The Young American’s” . In 2008 Khalid and his choreography were featured in the #1 movie in America, “Stomp the Yard.” Acknowledged around the world as a great choreographer and instructor of a style of dance that is the fusion of hip hop and body percussion, Khalid’s goal is to continue to blend create a unique style of percussive dance, hip hop, step, gumboot and drumming.
