Another stop on Khalid’s world tour is in New Orleans
Khalid says
New Orleans during the Mardi Gras week was amazing. As soon as you walk out the front door of the hotel the city was jumpin with noise and excitement. I was in rare form to say the least. Dancing in the streets never felt more appropriate. I got pegged in the head a few times with flying beads but that just added to the fun.
I was pretty close to getting my palms read by some old while lady who looked like a voodoo witch but I was too scared of what I might hear.
by the end of the night I was draped with colorful beads and danced out from all the live music on Bourbon street. I ate so much crawfish, clams, oysters and other seafood. Pretty tasty stuff but I must say I’m not a fan of large shrimps with all the tentacles and feet or whatever. That’s not my idea of a good time.
But to name the thing I liked the best: it’s always doing the SHOW!, and New Orleans came out BIG to support the King of Pop. You can feel their love for him
My job is not even a job. It’s so much fun that I consider it part of my life.
It’s like breathing to me.
